My name is Oluwatoyin Funmi Adeniji, and I built Vendara Global because I knew there was a better way.
I grew up surrounded by the richness of Nigerian produced shea butter made by the women of my community, the vibrancy of Ankara fabric woven into every celebration, the deep heritage carried in every thread of Kente cloth. When I moved to Glasgow, Scotland to advance my education in International Business Management, I saw a gap that nobody was filling.
UK cosmetic brands were paying three times the fair price for shea butter channeled through layers of middlemen. Fashion designers across Britain were struggling to source genuine Nigerian fabrics at honest prices. The products existed. The demand existed. What was missing was a direct, reliable, professional bridge between Nigeria's finest producers and the world.
That bridge is Vendara Global.
